Big rework. Most of the game loop has been rebuilt from scratch. We now have base/universe building. <br/>

Tier Ladder

Removed "win 5 universes, 3 lives". Now there's a tier ladder from 1 -> 7. You start at T4, win a player battle to go up, lose to go down.

Win at tier 7 to win. Lose at tier 1 to lose. No longer lose if you have 0 NAR, 0 NOK.

Means runs can potentially go for a long time as you yo-yo up and down the tiers.

Journey Map

The journey map is everything now - an expanding graph where you pick from 3 neighbors to raid, partially previewing what they have, then steal their nodes, and battle them.

Universe Nodes

Nodes replace perks, you now have a base universe you can build and organize your run, you steal from other enemy player universes when you face them.

  • Harvester - post-battle income, scales the longer you hold it
  • Booster - passive buffs: +NAR%, +NOK%, or -cooldown
  • Beacon - extra raid actions
  • Wormhole - skip a battle and shift tier
  • Arena - instant NPC battle, no tier change
  • NARtex / NOKtex - contribute to the neutral resource pool
  • Shops - Small, Medium, Large, and Node shops replace the old shop stage
  • Expander - +1 inventory slot
  • Pack - consume for a random item
  • Converter - when your units spawn NAR, gain NOK (or vice versa)
  • Siphon - at battle start, gain % of the neutral pool
  • Retaliator - when enemy steals from you, trigger your leftmost/rightmost unit
  • Saboteur - at battle start, destroy enemy starting resources
Card Discovery & Shinys

Cards are discovered as you play. First time you see one, it gets a discovery animation. The Codex tracks your full collection. 0.5% chance any card drops as a shiny variant. This one's for you soldier.

Player Profiles

Custom display names and avatars. Opponents see your profile during raids. Not just a boring Guest_123456 anymore!

New Items
  • Babu - multicast aura, adjacent items activate an extra time
  • Ditu - gathers resources scaling with your unit count
  • Schwep - steady gatherer, 10 NAR + 10 NOK per tick
  • Ussingorstergramme - trigger that boosts adjacent items' resource gain
Audio

Added throat singing battle music and angelic choir main menu music.

New Art

Reworked art and new parallax card detail layers for Schwep, TizzTizz, Ussingorstergramme, Glizzard, Quhaunt, and HagHag.

Balance Changes
  • TizzTizz - full rework, now gains resources that scale each time you consume a node
  • Glizzard - Medium -> Small
  • Junni - now targets both adjacent items (was left-only)
  • Luwu - NAR buff +40% -> +50%
  • Vidoosh - NOK buff +40% -> +50%
  • Faloovian - nerfed 20 -> 16 NAR per tick
  • Glandoid - buffed 10 -> 16 NOK per tick
  • Fulking - cheaper, output 30 -> 50 NOK
  • Tyrands - much cheaper (90 -> 55 NOK)
  • Loopa - cooldown 5s -> 8s
  • HagHag - slightly cheaper
  • KakKak - removed
