Introduction

These are the terms (the "Terms") that you ("You") agree to when using Narnok (the "Game") and any associated websites or backend services (collectively, the "Services"). The Services are provided by Mastrowcorp PTY LTD ("We" or "Us"), an Australian company. The Game is available on platforms including Steam, itch.io, and our web player (collectively, the "Platforms"). By using the Services, you also agree to our Privacy Policy.

We've tried to keep these terms clear and straightforward. We treat our players with respect and expect the same in return. If anything is unclear, please reach out to us.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Australia. Nothing in these Terms limits any legal rights you have under applicable law.

Changes to Terms

Limited License

We own all rights to the Services, including intellectual property rights. We grant you a non-exclusive, revocable, limited license to use the Services for personal, non-commercial purposes. All rights not explicitly granted remain with us.

Service Availability

The Services may be interrupted for maintenance or due to circumstances beyond our control. We cannot guarantee uninterrupted access and bear no liability for service delays or disruptions.

We may change the Services at any time, which may affect access to certain features. You are responsible for ensuring your system can accommodate updates.

We reserve the right to discontinue any or all of the Services at any time, with or without notice.

Virtual Items

While playing the Game, you may acquire virtual items, unlock features, or access content (collectively, "Virtual Items") such as cosmetics, expansion packs, achievements, or in-game currency. You are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable, limited license to use Virtual Items within the Game, but you do not own them. We reserve the right to modify or remove any Virtual Item.

Purchases and Refunds

If the Game offers purchases in the future, sales are final and refunds will be issued at our discretion, unless otherwise required by applicable Australian Consumer Law or Platform policies.

Feedback

If you provide us with ideas, suggestions, or materials ("Feedback"), you grant us an unlimited, irrevocable right to use your Feedback without restriction, compensation, or attribution.

Code of Conduct

You may:

  • Play the Game in any context, including public settings and tournaments
  • Record gameplay and share recordings publicly, including on monetised video platforms like YouTube and Twitch
  • Create fan art and derivative works based on the Game
  • Organise and participate in community tournaments

You may not:

  • Reverse engineer, disassemble, or decompile any part of the Services
  • Distribute, license, transfer, or sell any part of the Services
  • Market, rent, or lease access to the Services for a fee
  • Use automated scripts, bots, AI, or other software to interact with the Services in unintended ways
  • Cheat, exploit bugs, or manipulate the Game in ways that give unfair advantages
  • Harass, abuse, or behave inappropriately towards other players
  • Create or share content that is sexually explicit, promotes violence, or encourages discrimination

Account Suspension

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Services if you violate these Terms or engage in behaviour that harms the Game or its community.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Australian law, our liability to you for any loss is limited to the total amount you have paid to us in the six months prior to the loss. This does not limit any rights you have under Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded.

Disputes

Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Services will be resolved under Australian law. You agree to attempt to resolve disputes with us directly before pursuing formal legal action.
